Ludwig Dance Model Nickel over Brass Snare 4" x 14"

Wow! This is one amazing snare! Dated back to the 1920's, The Dance Model was one of Ludwig's flagship models during this period and was marketed to drummers who needed a versatile instrument that could handle the demands of live performance. The nickel-over-brass construction gives these drums a distinctive sound: warm, rich, and full-bodied, with excellent projection and a crisp attack. They are known for their sensitivity, making them suitable for both light, articulate playing and louder, more forceful styles. 

• Shell Material: This drum is made with a nickel-over-brass (NOB) shell. The brass shell gives the drum a warm, resonant tone, while the nickel plating provides a bright, reflective surface that resists tarnishing.
• Size: 4" x 14" 
• Lugs: 10 tube lugs are simple and elegant, with a classic look that complements the vintage aesthetic.With the exception of four clips (see pictures) this drum is completely original.
